- April marks the start of spring in Arunachal Pradesh. Days are pleasant, but nights remain cool to cold.
- Dirang and Tawang can experience temperatures between 2°C and 15°C.
- Snow may still be visible at Sela Pass and Bum La during early April.

Permits & Documents
- We will arrange the Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Arunachal Pradesh.
- Guests must submit a soft copy of Aadhaar card and a recent passport-size photo (in colour).
- These documents must be shared at least 30 days before departure to ensure timely processing. Permits will be prepared and issued by our operations team prior to travel.
Packing Essentials:
- Warm clothing (thermal layers, down jacket, gloves, muffler, woolen cap).
- Comfortable walking shoes with good grip.
- Rain jacket or windcheater.
- Personal medicines and a small first-aid kit
- Sunscreen, lip balm, moisturizer, and sunglasses.
- Power bank and universal charger.
- Reusable water bottle.
- ID copies (hard and soft).
Health & Safety
- Tawang is located at an altitude of around 10,000 ft. Guests should stay hydrated and avoid overexertion.
- Those with asthma, hypertension, or heart issues should consult a doctor before travel.
- Carry personal medicines, as local pharmacies may have limited stock.
Connectivity & Payments
- Mobile connectivity is limited in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, especially beyond Dirang.
- Only BSNL and Jio networks work intermittently in Tawang.
- ATMs are available in Tezpur, Dirang, and Tawang, but guests are advised to carry sufficient cash.
