Day 1: Dubrovnik – Cable Car – Walking tour

Arrive in Dubrovnik and transfer to the hotel (check-in after 3 PM). In the late afternoon, take a cable car up Srd Hill for stunning views of the Old Town and Dalmatian Coast. Enjoy a walking tour exploring landmarks like Rector’s Palace, Dubrovnik city walls, Onofrio’s Fountain, Stradun Street, and Fort Minceta (all from outside). Overnight in the Dubrovnik area.

Day 2: Optional: Montenegro – Budva – Kotor – Our Lady of the Rocks (220kms)

Today, enjoy a full day at leisure or opt for an excursion to Montenegro. Visit the coastal town of Budva for a guided walking tour and free time for lunch by the Adriatic Sea. Continue to Kotor for a short tour of its walled old town, then take a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. Later, return to the Dubrovnik area for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Dubrovnik – Ston - Split - Zadar (400kms)

Drive along the Adriatic coast to Split, stopping at Ston to see its historic defensive walls. In Split, take a walking tour of the old town, including Diocletian’s Palace (outside), the colonnaded square, and the Temple of Jupiter. After lunch, continue to Zadar for a city tour featuring the Sea Gate, Roman Forum, Cathedral, and the unique Sea Organ.

Day 4: Zadar – Plitvice Lakes National Park - Zagreb (300kms)

After Breakfast drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its 16 turquoise lakes and waterfalls. Enjoy a scenic walk before continuing to Zagreb for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Zagreb – Ljubljana (Slovenia) (430kms)

After Breakfast, morning walking tour of Zagreb, visiting Lower Town, Church of St. Mark (outside), Stone Gate, Dolac Market, and the Cathedral. After free time for lunch, drive to Ljubljana for a city tour, including the Opera House, St. Nicholas Cathedral, National Museum (outside), and medieval castle (outside). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Ljubljana - Lake Bled – Bled castle - Ljubljana (120kms)

After breakfast, drive to Lake Bled, often called ‘paradise on earth’, surrounded by the Julian Alps and Karawanken Mountains. Visit the scenic Bled Castle for panoramic views of the lake. Later, enjoy a boat ride to see the Church on the island (from outside). In the evening, return to Ljubljana.

Day 7: Ljubljana– Salzburg – Mirabel Gardens – Munich (400kms)

This morning, we drive towards Salzburg, the birth city of Mozart and famous for the ‘Sound of Music’ film set and enjoy a walk through the Mirabel gardens and the old town. Later we continue our drive to Munich. After dinner check into our hotel.

Day 8: Munich City tour – Fly out

This morning, we have a short walking orientation tour of Munich visiting the Marienplatz, Olympic Stadium (from outside) and BMW museum (entrance not included). Depending on the time of the flight we transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
